BCT1812 provides a power supply IC with an output load of 500mA-1.2A in a 5V voltage environment. The IC has the characteristics of synchronous rectification, and a freewheeling diode can be omitted. IQ=40uA. Because it is a DCDC component, the heat generated can be much smaller than that of an LDO in applications where there is a large pressure difference between the input and the output. At the same time, the IC has two ways to control the switch MOS: PWM+PFM, so it has a relatively high efficiency even when the load power consumption is relatively small.
